Bumper City: A Pinball Exposition

Geeze! I was just looking over my latest posts and I saw that I haven't posted anything since July! well... July 30th, mind you but still, I haven't posted jack squat for August! I've been quite busy... busy setting up a little pinball thing here in Toronto!

That's right! I've been working with The Pinball Club and Pinball Sessions to present "Bumper City: A Pinball Exposition"! Basically, it's a pinball art show. We're going to have a couple of pinball machines to play, some history and info about the game, as well as some of my pictures for sale!

So what's this little Pinball Expo all about? We want people to see, hear, and feel pinball. Not just the machines themselves but the history, the influence, and the innovation of pinball.

Swing by Black Cat Gallery in Roncesvalles, 2186 Dundas St. West, from August 21 to 24 to check out what we got in store!

Thursday - 6pm - 10pm
Friday - 6pm - 10pm
Saturday - 12pm - 10pm
Sunday - 12pm - 5pm

Come swing by, grab a beer, play a couple of games, maybe buy one of my pinball pix, and have a good time (not a long time)

Pinball Sessions
Pinball Sessions is an exclusive music site providing original and unique recordings from artists for free download and stream.
The recordings are done in our studio that also houses a rotating gallery of pinball machines. Pinball plays a huge role in creating the atmosphere where the artists are at ease and comfortable and lay down exquisite recordings. Just over one year on the go, the website hosts over 120 live sessions and is constantly expanding with the addition of 2 sessions per week. Participating artists to date have included: Pokey Lafarge, Mount Eerie/The Microphones, Kopecky Family Band, Daniel Romano, PUP, Diana, Tony Dekker, Cuff The Duke, Hooded Fang and many more.
